Summer trends to die for

As new seasons come and go, so do trends. A favorite and yearly trend that comes every year are the change of colors. Bright hues bring out the summery joys, save the basic blacks and browns for fall and winter. Now my favorite trend this year are bold prints. Animal prints are making a fighting come back. Not just the Jersey shore cheetah print, but cute zebra prints too! Which leads me to the next print. Bold lines and strips. But beware, horizonal stripes on areas that are bigger on you will only exaggerate that area. Vertical lines help lengthen and make your frame look taller, which I completely find an easy way to taller. I love heels but I would much rather make myself look taller with just a simple print on my bottoms. Azect prints are by far my favorite. They are super adorable and many colors go well with the print.
But we all know that prints are nothing new, what is new is wearing these prints on the bottom instead of the top. Such as leggings and and pants. Simple shirts with just a hint of embelishments work very well with prints. Best summer outfits this year are simple girl tank, cute legging, and adorable strappy sandles. For a date look add closed toe heels, and a light blazer, with a nice long necklace or dangle earrings.

Peppy Pelums

So everyone has been hearing about the fashion trend, the peplum. This flirty new trend is perfect for most any season.
It works with long sleeved tops, short sleeved tops, and strapless.  This trend has been seen on celebs and run-ways everywhere. It's such a loved trend, that the peplum 'frilly' has been added to tops, dresses, leggings, and even belts! 

The peplum belt is actually amazing. Love the trend, but can't afford the garments? The simple belt fits perfectly with any simple solid dresses and tops. I myself want one desperately! So far searching around, the cheapest belt (that doesn't look the cheapest at all) can be found at debshops.com for only $5!
Being of the plus-sized variety, I love this trend, it covers the tummy.
Its perfect, so if you don't have a piece of clothing with a peplum attached yet, you need to head to the local mall!
